Christmas Cards
Well we've been crazy busy working on Christmas Cards lately, but I have to let you all know that tomorrow is the deadline to order cards and get them in time for Christmas. We will be on vacation all next week and we won't be processing any orders, so all orders must be placed by tomorrow!!!
Below are my wonderful sister and her families cards. I love them!

Ben is growing up!
A few weeks back I got to go to Ben's house and see him and his family! As I have said so many times, I love seeing the Robinsons. I did a baby's first year session for Aaron and now we are working on Ben's sessions. This was his 2nd session and he did pretty good! What a cutie!!!
And of course Aaron and the family had to get in on the action! Aren't they the cutest family ever?

Fun times with Jennifer and Nick
So, last year Jamie and I photographed Jennifer and Nicks engagement session in downtown Chicago. We had a great idea to stop off at the apple store so that we could take some pictures of all 4 of us. However, the pictures never got emailed to me for some reason so I have never seen them. Well yesterday Jennifer found the pictures on her computer and emailed them to me!!!! So I finally got to see them and I had to blog them!!
I think one of the most fulfilling parts of my job is to be able to become friends with my clients. I love it that I can stalk their blog or email them at random. It makes my job fun! Jennifer and Nick are one of those couples that Jamie and I will always be friends with! I love it.

Cute Cute Cute Kids!!!
Wednesday I photographed 2 of the cutest girls ever. We had so much fun running around taking pictures and they even came up with some of their own places and poses! Gotta love that! They are 2 of the smartest little girls I have ever seen; they were telling me all about the Desert landscape and all the plants... I was amazed!
I got a ton of great ones but here are some of my favorites!

This was Talia's idea.. her pose and location.. I thought it was very creative!!:)

One of my favorites.

They were trying to catch a bunny rabbit.. I thought this was so funny!

Look at those beautiful eyes!

And again, a horrible picture of me and totally out of focus, I have to work on these kind of shots, but I had to include it because I love it!!

PUG Meeting
I have an unbeliveable community of photographers who surround me in Arizona. Every month we all get together and socialize, learn, and eat!!! It has become something I look forward to every single month and I don't know what I would do without these people in my life!
We are called a "PUG" Group, (Pictage user group), and it is made up of a ton of Arizona photographers, some who use pictage and some who don't.
Lately we've been meeting at my studio and I love that I can open up my place. We are averaging about 20-25 people and it's great.
Yesterday I got to do a studio spotlight and share about my studio and all the things that have happened over the last 5 years... it's been a lot!
I also talked a little about blogging and how it is so important. I was asked how much I blog and I shamefully said that sometimes only once a week when I wish I could do it more often. But hey i'm trying:):)
I also said that in order to really do well blogging you have to give a little. I love it when people comment on my site, it gives me happy feelings inside:) But I know that in order to have people comment on my site I also need to comment on theirs. So, I am trying to give a little love and comment more.
The sad thing is that sometimes people leave comments but they don't tell me who they are. I want to know!!! So, i'm asking all of you... if you comment and you have a blog or website feel free to leave it in the comment. That way I can see who you are and it will also help your web optimization:) If you don't want to I guess that is ok, but know i'm thankful for your comments!!
Alright, I have TONS to do so I better start working on some amazing pictures! Thanks for reading.. and start leaving some comments! I will do the same!
*A big shout out to all of you from the pug who left a comment today:):) Jocelyn, thanks!! But I don't know how to get ahold of you so I hope that you read this!
Fun Email
I just did a really fun Boudoir session for a gorgeous girl yesterday and I received a wonderful email afterwards... I can't tell you who it is from because it is special session that she did for her husband as a surprise and I don't want to spoil the surprise:):) So you will all have to wait for more info, but I had to share because I love emails like this!! LOVE IT!!
Kim,
Thank you so much for such an unbelievable experience today !! You couldn't have been more perfect. I don't even know what the pictures look like but couldn't be happier. I have never felt so beautiful. Your creativity is incredible, I feel blessed to have you referred to me by Katie :) I hope you have great couple of week and a great vacation....I will be using you lot' s in the future for sure
Thank you,
xxxxxxxxxx:)

Everyone meet the wonderful Kelli Whitehead

This post is way past due... really it is. In August I hired Kelli Johnson to come be a part of the chaoticness of Kimberly Jarman Photography. She was hired to help with finances, clients, albums, color correcting, and pretty much everything else. She has been a God send and is doing a great job.
I wanted to wait to post about her until I could show some pictures, but in the craziness of everything we didn't get pictures taken until last week, so I am just now posting them.
The other great thing is that on Saturday Miss Kelli Johnson became Mrs. Kelli Whitehead and I was able to go as a guest to the wedding which was wonderful. So, I want to send a big congrats out to the newlyweds!! Thank you Kelli for all your help.
Below are a few favs from the session we did... yes, Kelli is a HAM and I love it!

Can you help??
My husband and I are going on a cruise in a few weeks for his 30th birthday and we are sailing out of Miami Florida. We are planning on staying a few nights in South Beach but are having a hard time choosing a hotel..... so my question is for any of you who have ever been to South Beach...
1. Where did you stay?
2. What was it like?
3. Do you have any recommendations for a fun modern hotel?
4. What do you recomend we do when we get there (we won't have a car).
We are wanting a fun boutique chic hotel that is modern and nice. We are splurging so feel free to tell us of the best place to stay!!! Thanks:)

Another Christmas Card

Meredith and Ernie at Desert Mountain Country Club
On Sunday I photographed a beautiful wedding up at Desert Mountain Country Club. It was absolutely beautiful and I had the most wonderful time.
Meredith and Ernie called me up awhile ago and asked me to photograph their wedding. They are from Canada and all their guests were coming from Canada as well. There were only 2 locals, which is a little different than usual!
They both got ready separately at Merediths parents house in Desert Mountain and then they saw each other for pictures before the wedding. Ernie has 2 amazing kids who are so well behaved and I loved having them around. Meredith was very welcomed into the family and it makes total sense because this entire group was some of the nicest people I have ever met.
Meredith and Ernies story is pretty amazing actually, Ernie was Merediths first boyfriend growing up, I believe at the age of 13. Their families have always been good friends, but after awhile they went their own ways. Finally at the right point they met up again and realized that they were totally meant for each other. And they are. Can I say again what a great couple they are.
I had a great time and we got some great pictures. Below are a ton of them. Enjoy!
The Beautiful Dress.

Merediths Kate Spade Shoes

A Gorgeous Ring.

Madison, Ernies little girl, getting ready for the wedding.

The gorgeous Meredith. Isn't she beautiful?

An intimate moment between daughter and Step-Monster (this is what Madison refered to her at the wedding... a good thing of course - she said she was the best Step-Monster anyone could ever have!)

Bride and Groom - what a great couple.

The sisters. They loved each other so much and had so many great stories of growing up.. thats what happens when there are 3 girls:)

Ernie and Matthew!

What a good looking family.

I love the veil in this picture.

And we had a great time with the wedding party as well!

I love this shot. We were headed off to take some more pictures and they didn't know I was shooting... this is totally unposed and I love the mood of the shot.

Lots more pictures.

Meredith loves her nieces... this is one of the flowergirls showing her something.

Walking down the aisle.

The ceremony ended up getting moved inside, but was still wonderful. The sun coming in the window made for some amazing shots.

A Caught moment during the ceremony between one of the flowergirls and her grandpa.

I love this shot because of Merediths sisters in the back cracking up.

Another happy family shot.

Thank you Meredith and Ernie and all the other family and friends who made us feel so welcome. We had a great time with all of you and can't wait to see you all again sometime!!!

Mini-Sessions Update
We have a few spots left still for family sessions. On Saturday, November 17th we will be doing sessions in a downtown area so it will be fun and different. Sunday, the 18th we will be doing sessions at the Farm at South Mountain, which has lots of green grass and trees. Two totally different types of sessions. All sessions are November 17th and 18th and this will be the last sessions I will be doing before Christmas. Please email or call if you would like to schedule a time or get more information.
Family Pictures at Silverleaf
Yesterday I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph families at the Silverleaf country club in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is the 2nd year I've been able to do this and it is such an honor.
We had a great time and got some great pictures. All the families were wonderful.
Most of the families are going to use these images for their Christmas cards so this was pretty much the start of my Christmas Mini Sessions!!
I'm so excited to see the final choices for cards.
Thank you all for allowing me to photograph your families. I will be contacting you shortly to set up appointments to view all the images.
There are a lot of pictures, so get ready!!!

If we get some more interest we will probably open up Sunday, November 18th as well and the sessions will be held at the Farm at South Mountain, (green grass, trees, and lots of pretty places to take pictures). If you are interested in these sessions let me know so we can make sure you get a time slot.

Happy Halloween
I have to share a very cute picture from last night. My very cute nephews dressed up as horses and had a wonderful time trick or treating for their very first time. They were so cute and loved seeing all the kids walking around and all the different decorations.
Liam would take candy from one bucket and then go to the next bucket and give it back... it was so cute.
This picture is of my sister and the boys. Such cuties!!!

ZuZu's Petals now has a website
I think that one of the most important things you can do for your business is to get a good website... clean, simple, and classic. Especially in the wedding industry because that is how most Brides are looking now, online.
So a big congratulations to the ZuZu's Petals girls.
Please check out their site and send them a little congratulations email!!
